Charonn was inspired by friends and relatives to think beyond the capacity of working within a hair salon.  By actively pursuing an independent career in make-up artisty, the licensed Esthetician and Make-up Artist started Defining Faces in 1995, and became an independent freelance designer in 1997 immediately after graduating from DeRielle Designworks Academy in Mechanicsburg, PA. Charonn has since established herself as an expert in make-up application and design.

Defining Faces is located in Harrisburg, PA. and is convenient to Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C. For the past 12 years, Charonn's mobile services have been recognized among cutting edge salons, for her attention to detail, flexibility and creativity.

Although Charonn is a licensed Esthetician and Skin Care Consultant, her focus is on teaching men and women alike the importance of preventive care; as she is known to say, "beauty starts with basic skin care."

Charonn has always been fascinated by faces and enjoys enhancing the beauty of others.  Her passion is to help others see their natural beauty through the art of basic make-up application and ultimately promote a healthy self-image. Specializing in make-up, Charonn has established a business founded on the premise that beauty is more than skin deep-- it is reflected from the inside out.

Charonn's experience has taught her how to build working relationships with diverse groups of people, not only in gender and ethnicity, but also in age.  Her main intention is to provide herself as a venue by which clients may expand their awareness of beauty enhancement and correct make-up application, as well as provide a healthy focus that promotes an individual's natural beauty.

Charonn is committed to offering clients a unique combination of flexibility in appointment scheduling with the convenience of using their own space. She is happy to provide training through her hands-on approach and share the wealth of resources she has acquired. Charonn bases her life's work on the premise that "optimum beauty is a potential within us all."
